Position - LAN Administrator
Department – IT
Qualification – B.com, B.Sc, BCA, MCSS/CCNA certification
Experience - 1 to 4 years
Location – Mumbai, Kolkata
Job Description –

  • 24/7 Shift job -Monitoring of WAN links
  • Desktop level troubleshooting for LAN users
  • Registering complaints for WAN/ISP Service providers.

Essential Attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and fast learner, confident, self-assertive person
  • Should be open for shifts (IT team here works 24/7)
  • Should have good teaming skills and be able to empathize with different cultures
  • Education Qualification:    Must be graduate, diploma or graduate with formal qualifications in computers (GNIIT-Track 1-2 [Networking & Software Engineering]).

 

Position - Oracle Database Administrator
Department – IT
Qualification - BE- Computer Science/ MCA /graduate with course in Oracle DBA
Experience - 2 to 3 years
Location – Mumbai
Job Description -

  • Experience in installation and configuration of Linux, UNIX, Windows 9x, Windows NT Server, Windows NT Workstation, ORACLE
  • Knowledge of ORACLE Database Administration including Planning/Implementing, Memory Management, Tablespace Management, File Management, Segment Management, User Management, Resource Management, Password Management, Backup & Recovery Strategies, Performance Tuning, and Network Administration.
  • Knowledge of detecting and resolving Row Chaining, Row Migration, and Oracle Data Blocks Corruption.
  • Knowledge of work with ORACLE using various Oracle tools/utilities.
  • Knowledge of Database Auditing using Audit Trail and Database Triggers.
  • Programming skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Forms 5.0, Reports 3.0 and FoxPro 2.5.
  • Knowledge of shell programming.
  • Shutdown & Startup Oracle Database
  • Checking the daily export backups on disk and tape
  • Checking the full backup on tape 
  • Disk space management of primary & standby database
  • Tablespace size management & extent management
  • Checking & increasing extents
  •  Checking the free space & used space of data files
  • Adding data files to the tablespaces
  • Taking daily export backup on different machine.
  •  Taking Export backup & cold backup on disk drive
  • Taking cold backup on DLT cartridge.
